I am a writer, an actress, and I've done some standup comedy. I have three children who are into the arts and sciences. I refuse to take life seriously until it starts taking me seriously. I adore the work of Neil Gaiman, Saki, PG Wodehouse, Douglas Adams, Dick Francis, Terry Pratchett, Scott Westerfeld, Jayne Ann Krentz, Maureen Johnson, Kelley Armstrong and the Emperor Norton. I write a weekly entertainment column that comes out on Fridays. I also run a website designed to help save money, which I update most days.
