Warriors

Great piece about Native American service in the US military. Some of it was quite startling to me, like how many served in World War one despite not having been granted US citizenship.

That's crazy to me. I could see being a native person and not wanting to be a citizen of the country that invaded, lied to me and killed so many of my people but for the US not to offer is incomprehensible.
